William Goldyn was nominated by his students and was chosen by the Fulfillment Fund Organization as one of the top theatre arts educators in Los Angeles. He is a National Board Certified Teacher and a Center Theatre Group “Bravo Award” honoree who has directed over 50 high school productions, including One Flew Over the Cuckoo's Nest (CETA Award winner), Joe Turner's Come and Gone (CETA Award Winner), In The Heights (Jerry Herman Award Nominee for Best Musical), Dreamgirls, Peter Pan, Shakespeare’s Twelfth Night (CETA Award Winner for Best Scene), and The Shadow Box. His award-winning production of The Crucible was selected to perform at the Edinburgh Fringe Festival in Scotland. Besides receiving an MA in Theatre Education from the University of Northern Colorado, Mr. Goldyn was also educated in Oxford, Prague, and Vienna; for the latter, he was chosen by the National Endowment for the Humanities as one of only fifteen teachers in the United States to attend this prestigious opportunity. He currently teaches all levels of acting and directing, Advanced Voice & Speech, and Improv.
